Sales Operations Lead –Advertising (London)

Netflix is one of the world’s leading entertainment services, with over 300 million paid memberships across 190 countries. Members can freely watch films, TV series, and games—on their terms—and we’re expanding our advertising business rapidly.

Since 2022, we’ve introduced an ad-supported tier and now serve over 80 million monthly ad users globally. We’re scaling capabilities in live content, brand integrations, and broader advertising solutions—and we need a driven Sales Operations lead to help restore strategy field in Europe (London based).

About the Role

The Sales Operations Lead will partner with the Director of Market Expansion to shape go-to-market strategies, refine sales processes, and ensure data-driven decision-making. This position is pivotal in growing Netflix’s ad-powered business while maintaining agility and scalability across new markets and scaling teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Expansion Strategy

    • Partner with the Director of Market Expansion on client segmentation, solution definitions, and .service levels for new markets.
    • Define resourcing models, sales org structures, and sales territory alignment for global and hybrid markets.
  • Sales Operations Leadership

    • Drive revenue forecasting, pipeline management, quotas, and monthly business reviews to optimise sales performance.
    • Own CRM data management (accounts, teams, opportunities, reports) to ensure accuracy and scalability.

  • Data-Driven Decisions

    • Analyse large datasets (revenue, pipeline, customer, sales processes) to surface actionable insights.
    • Lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly reviews for senior leadership to guide strategic decisions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Work with Market Activation, Finance, HR, and Business Operations to deliver Ads-wide projects.
    • Represent sales requirements and measurement framework needs externally.
  • Market and Performance Stewardship

    • Work closely with sales, account managers, enterprise teams to analyse programmatic performance and mitigate MI gaps.
    • Own discussions on business performance with credibility, presenting data and recommendations confidently.

What We’re Looking For

We prioritise impact and skills—not credentials. Show us your ability to drive results over formal prerequisites.

  • Advertising Sales Operations Experience (7+ years preferred, non-traditional paths welcome)

    • Hands-on experience in ad tech, DSPs, programmatic sales, or direct-to-business sales modelling.
  • Stakeholder Management

    • Strong track record of building relationships with country, regional, or agency stakeholders at senior levels.
  • Landscape and Process Knowledge

    • Understanding of digital advertising (agency-to-client vs. direct sales), publisher-grade KPIs, and influence models (e.g. und tiering).

  • Data and Operational Expertise

    • Mastery of spreadsheets, SQL, and BI tools (Tableau/Power BI+) considered a plus.
    • Experience with automation (Python, Airflow, Kayako/CRM integration) or scaling tooling is a differentiator.
  • Leadership and Influence

    • Ability to take initiative even without direct authority—evidence of leading cross-functional teams or rallies complex stakeholders preferred.
  • Language and Culture Fit

    • Native or near-native fluency in English required; proficiency in German, French, Italian, or Spanish highly desirable.
