About the Role
As a Market Research & Data Analyst, you will be the driving force behind ** propriety research, analysis and insights** across client-defined projects. Your responsibilities include:

Research Design
- Collaborate with editorial and commercial teams to define research questions.
- Design survey instruments and discussion guides, selecting appropriate quantitative and qualitative methods.

Data Collection & Management
- Oversee fieldwork, manage sampling and quotas.
- Ensure data integrity from collection through to a clean, analysis-ready dataset.

Analysis
- Conduct cross-tabulation, significance testing, segmentation, regression, and modelling.
- Identify valuable, high-impact findings and ensure statistical robustness.
- Generate summary tables, databooks, and data visualisations.

Storytelling with Data
- Translate analytical results into clear narratives.
- Collaborate with writers and designers to present data accfacately and compellingly in final reports.

Client Engagement
- Work directly with senior client stakeholders to refine research needs.
- Interpret findings, explain methodology, and provide actionable guidance.
- Present results confidently to internal and client audiences.

Standards & Integrity
- Adhere to Reuters' rigorous standards for accuracy, sourcing, and independence.
- Avoid unsupported claims, maintaining the credibility of our reports.

About You
To excel in this role, you’ll have:
✔ Proprietary Research Experience: Proven track record in designing and managing quantitative research for external clients or stakeholders.
✔ Statistical Knowledge:
- Proficiency in weighting, crosstabs, significance testing, segmentation, and regression techniques.
- Hands-on experience in a statistical environment (preferably R, but SPSS, Q, Stata, Python equivalents will be considered).
✔ Survey & Methodology Expertise:
- Strong understanding of questionnaire design, sampling, and fieldwork management.
- Ability to identify data quality issues to ensure robustness.
✔ Analytical & Communicative Skills:
- Skill to interpret data and explain its meaning and business impact.
- Clarity in delivering insights to senior stakeholders.
✔ AI Responsibility:
- Demonstrated experience in shaping ethical, responsible AI-infused research programs.
✔ Communication Ability:
- Strong written and verbal communication, with the confidence to present findings defensively.
✔ Project Management:
- Capacity to handle multiple concurrent projects, balancing speed with rigour and precision.
