Market Research Project Manager
Market Research Project Manager – Part Time (15 hours/week) – 12-Month Contract
Location: Remote (UK-based with London office presence required once per quarter) Rate: c. £40,000 FTE Format: Part-time, 15 hours/week Tenure: 12-month contract (high potential for extension)
About the Role
Are you a *highly organised market research professional with exceptional data handling skills and a passion for multi-stakeholder project management? We’re seeking a Part-Time Project Manager for a rare and flexible opportunity to support a critical national longitudinal project focused on *children and online safety.
As the primary operational link between educational institutions, internal databases, and external research partners, you’ll play a pivotal role in gathering impactful insights into youth digital behaviours, ensuring the success of this groundbreaking research initiative.

Responsibilities
Operational & Logistical Management
- Set-up and administrative management of the project, including sample frame oversight
- Conduct school recruitment and engagement to secure participation
- Provide weekly progress reports on recruitment success metrics
- Oversee sample monitoring and fieldwork quality assurance
- Perform data cleansing to ensure high fidelity of project outputs
Financial & Technical Responsibilities
- Manage the financial administration of the project
- Leverage advanced Excel capabilities, including:
- Deep practical experience with XLOOKUP and COUNT formulas
- Database auditing
- Execute Word-to-Outlook mail merges and troubleshoot remote school IT systems

Experience Required
- Advanced Excel mastery, with hands-on application of databases and lookup functions
- Demonstrated expertise in mail merge and remote technical project coordination
- Methodical and meticulous attention to detail
- Experience in recruitment and data management for longitudinal studies, preferably within educational or market research contexts
