Market Sales Manager, Golf Technology- Remote UK

Sales Executive – New Business Acquisition

Location: Mainland UK (Candidates within territory)

Employment Type: Full-time, Territory-based Position

The Role

A front-line, hunter sales position for a results-driven professional who thrives on persuasion, momentum, and delivering against ambitious targets. This role is critical to driving new business acquisition, ensuring sustained growth through high-quality club partnerships.


Key Responsibilities

New Business Development:

  • Identify, engage, and convert new customers across your assigned territory.
  • Build a high-value pipeline and consistently exceed acquisition targets.
  • Develop a regional sales strategy to secure long-term partnerships.

Product & Market Expertise:

  • Deeply understand VERSANT’s product suite (e.g., BRS, GolfNow) and commercial models.
  • Framework sales approaches around customer insights, pain points, and market trends.
  • Position offerings as the market-leading solution through targeted pitches and negotiations.

Prospecting & Networking:

  • Execute outbound activity, leveraging referrals, industry events, and existing relationships.
  • Engage decision-makers proactively to accelerate deal progression.

Data-Driven Execution:

  • Use CRM (Salesforce), market data, and sales tools to prioritise opportunities.
  • Accurately forecast performance and optimise deal strategy.
  • Daily pipeline management, including Salesforce updates and territory planning.

Accountability & Alignment:

  • Own personal performance metrics exceeding targets.
  • Represent VERSANT as a brand ambassador, attending exhibitions and conferences.
  • Collaborate with global colleagues to foster a high-performance sales culture.
  • Ensure smooth handover post-sale and strong client retention foundational support.

Who We’re Looking For

Minimum Core Requirements

  • 5+ years in professional sales, ideally in SaaS or B2B.
  • Proven ability to execute a structured, consultative sales process with strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Results-driven mindset: track record of achieving/beating targets and KPIs.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
  • Skilled in data analysis, consolidating insights to support client proposals.
  • Technical self-sufficiency: confidence with web-based/cloud applications.
  • UK driving licence and unrestricted vehicle access.

Desirable Additions

  • Degree-level qualification in Business, Marketing, or Technology.
