If you specialise in beautifully boning, cutting, preparing, and flavouring meat to an outstanding standard—and thrive as a friendly, customer-focused team member—we’d love to meet you!
About the Role
As a Market Street Butcher, you’ll be the face of our fresh counter. Every day, your expertise ensures customers receive the highest-quality meat products with friendly, helpful service.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure stock availability—lead stock management for fresh cuts and pre-packaged meat products.
- Maintain attractive displays—fresh, well-presented meat promotions to boost sales and customer satisfaction.
- Master meat preparation—cut, price, weigh, stake, dice, mince, bone, season, and package cuts using tools like saws, mallets, mincing machines, and precise knives.
- Cater to all customer needs—fulfil individual requests and deliver exceptional service, including online orders.
- Create diverse meat cuts—demonstrate versatility in handling different primals and customer specifications.
- Go above and beyond—anticipate needs, provide personalised advice, and enhance the customer experience.
