Market Street Team Leader – Join Our Team!

We’re recruiting Team Leaders to inspire and lead our Market Street teams, helping us deliver fresh products and ideas to our customers.


About the Role

As a Market Street Team Leader, you’ll be the driving force behind our high-performing teams across:

  • Deli
  • Oven Fresh
  • Pie Shop
  • Fresh to Go
  • Bakery
  • Cake Shop

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring exceptional Market Street Counter standards through continuous review and improvement
  • Multi-skilling colleagues across all counters, providing them with the tools and training they need
  • Managing daily communication and coordination within the team, offering support when necessary
  • Fostering a culture of exceptional friendly and helpful service, putting customers at the heart of everything
  • Building a positive, performance-driven culture where achievements are recognised
  • Analysing department data to drive process improvements, reduce waste, and minimise risks
  • Ensuring all company policies, procedures, and legal obligations are met

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has a strong ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Can develop and lead teams, coaching for high performance
  • Understands modern supermarket operations and technical requirements
  • Is organised, able to manage workloads effectively, and work to strict deadlines
  • Enjoys leading teams, motivating colleagues, and improving processes
