Marketing Account Director
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + bonuses (Avg. £5,000 - £10,000) Location: Hybrid (London Waterloo base) / Remote (outside London)

Rocket SaaS is a fast-growing marketing agency specialising in outsourced marketing for SaaS companies. Our services include marketing strategy, content, ads, lead magnets, and website conversions.
We’re a small business of 40+ employees, based across London, Europe, and South Africa. Our team is ambitious, creative, and passionate about modern demand-generation marketing campaigns.
The Role
We’re seeking a Marketing Account Director with expertise in SaaS-specific strategies, focusing on content and ads, to help our clients scale their growth.
You will:
- Develop and oversee comprehensive marketing strategies for SaaS clients struggling with lead generation (lead gen) and go-to-market (GTM).
- Ideate and execute multi-layered plans, including:
- Market research & competitor analysis
- Defining Ideal Customer Profiles (ICP)
- Targeting & audience segmentation strategies
- Content pillar development
- Retargeting ad funnels via:
- Google Ads
- LinkedIn Ads (with expertise in crafting high-converting LinkedIn ad copy & briefs)
- Meta Ads
- Collaborating with:
- Marketing Exec
- Ads Manager
- Designer
- Developer
- Content Expert
- Designing lead magnet campaigns & website/landing page optimisations
- Balance hands-on work with team management (in-house & external resources, including content creators, designers, and developers).
- Conduct regular internal & client meetings.
- Report directly to the Director of Marketing.

Key Responsibilities
✅ Develop strategic marketing plans for high-growth SaaS clients. ✅ Define, test & refine content & ad strategies to drive conversions. ✅ Lead cross-functional teams to execute campaigns. ✅ Optimise lead gen and GTM strategies based on data. ✅ Reporting & performance analysis.
Requirements & Qualifications
Must demonstrate expertise in:

- SaaS/Tech marketing (agency or client-side experience preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of marketing experience (with a proven track record).
- LinkedIn Ad campaign management (successful executions).
- Content marketing (experience in high-impact campaigns).
- Sharp strategic & creative thinking.
- Excellent communication & project management skills.
- Data attribution & analytics knowledge for performance-driven decisions.
- Effective multitasking in fast-paced environments.
