Job Description
The Marketing Advisor supports the delivery of marketing activities across the organisation. This role ensures the smooth, timely, and accurate delivery of marketing activity, managing incoming requests, creating high-quality assets, and supporting patient communications. The postholder will be a key operator within the marketing function, enabling the wider team to deliver consistent, compliant, and impactful marketing for practices.
Key Responsibilities
Day to Day Marketing Operations
- Function as the first point of contact for day-to-day marketing queries from practices, clinicians, and internal stakeholders.
- Manage the marketing ticketing system, ensuring requests are prioritised, actioned, and closed within agreed SLAs.
- Maintain an organised workflow, escalating complex issues to the Marketing Business Partner team where appropriate.
Brand & Materials Management
- Produce on-brand marketing materials including posters, social assets, leaflets, email templates, in-practice materials, and digital graphics.
- Adapt existing templates or create new assets as needed.
- Ensure all marketing materials follow brand guidelines.
- Management and approval of printed materials via our 3rd party provider.
- Support the creation and distribution of internal communications assets.
- Manage distribution of materials and digital toolkits to practices.

Email Marketing and Patient Communications
- Build and schedule patient email campaigns, ensuring content is accurate, compliant, and aligned with corporate strategy.
- Support practices with patient communication needs, including drafting and sending essential patient letters such as clinician departure notices, changes to services, or operational updates.
- Support the execution of automated patient journeys and transactional emails where needed.
- Monitor basic email performance metrics and surface insights to the wider team.
Compliance, Governance & Brand Control
- Ensure all marketing outputs comply with brand guidelines, clinical accuracy, and necessary regulatory standards.
- Maintain correct version control across assets, templates, and digital content.
- Support audit checks on practice marketing content (digital and in-practice).
Data & Reporting
- Assist in gathering performance data for campaigns, channels, and market insights.
- Help monitor competitor activity and market trends.
Collaboration and Cross-Functional Support
- Work closely with Marketing Business Partners, Brand, Digital, Communications, and Operations teams.
- Hold regular “Ask the Marketing Team” drop-in sessions to provide hands-on support, answer practice queries, share best practice, and build confidence in marketing processes and tools.
- Support onboarding of new practices with initial marketing set-up.
- Hold regular training and development sessions with the Marketing Business Partners to strengthen capability, embed best practice, and ensure alignment across regions.
Qualifications
- Degree (or equivalent experience) in Marketing, Communications, Business, or similar field preferred.
- Professional marketing training or certificates (CIM, digital marketing courses) desirable but not essential.

Hybrid working looks like Monday and Wednesday in Cheltenham office and Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at home.
