Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity

We’re now seeking an experienced Marketing and Communications Manager to lead and deliver impactful campaigns that enhance our brand awareness and strengthen fundraising efforts.

About The Role

  • Create, develop, and deliver brand campaigns and communication strategies to drive awareness and fundraising success.
  • Lead the marketing and PR strategy, ensuring we position the charity as experts in children’s palliative care.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to generate engaging content, ideas, and storytelling that resonates with our audience.
  • Align campaigns with Rainbow Trust’s organisational goals to achieve our fundraising ambitions.

This position reports to the Head of Engagement and offers the perfect opportunity to shape branding and communications in an organisation that makes a real difference.


What We’re Looking For

We seek an inspiring, collaborative, and results-driven Marketing and Communications Manager who:

  • Has a calm yet motivating communication style, encouraging others to contribute ideas.
  • Is energetic and collaborative, with the ability to delegation and teamwork towards shared goals.
  • Operates at a fast pace, balancing flexibility and thorough follow-up to meet targets.
  • Possesses innovative problem-solving skills, thinking strategically while adapting quickly to challenges.
  • Has proven experience in communication and media strategy—preferably within the charity/not-for-profit sector.
