Marketing and Communications Officer (Campus Services)
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Campus Services team as a Marketing and Communications Officer, playing a key role in shaping the ResLife Experience and wider Campus Services department.
About The Role
You will help develop, implement, and evaluate our marketing and communications strategy, ensuring our activity is insight-led, inclusive, and aligned with University objectives.
Your work will enhance student engagement, support student experience goals, and promote our accommodation, ResLife, and commercial services to both internal and external audiences.
You will:
- Create and schedule engaging content across multiple channels.
- Contribute to strategic planning by using data, feedback, and market insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Support the marketing and promotion of Campus Services’ commercial initiatives, working closely with hospitality, retail, and partners.
This role is central to delivering a positive, inclusive, and enriching environment for our diverse community.
About You
The ideal candidate will be an organised, creative, and proactive marketing professional, educated to degree level or able to demonstrate equivalent experience.
Responsibilities (You Will)
You will:
- Bring significant hands-on experience in marketing, communications, or digital roles, with a particular strength in managing social media channels and delivering varied projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Be an exceptional communicator, confident in tailoring information for diverse audiences and producing high-quality written content with strong attention to detail.
- Be digitally confident, comfortable using a range of content management systems, analytics tools, and creative software to produce engaging visual and digital materials.
- Demonstrate strong information-handling skills, with the ability to analyse and interpret data to inform decision-making.
