Turn Great Ideas into Experiences That Students Remember
Are you a creative designer who loves bringing campaigns to life? Do you enjoy creating eye-catching content, telling compelling stories, and making a real impact through marketing and communications?
At the Union of Brunel Students, we're looking for a talented Marketing & Design Coordinator to help shape how thousands of students discover, engage with, and benefit from everything their Students' Union has to offer. You'll play a key role in promoting events, supporting student communities, driving engagement, and creating communications that genuinely enhance the student experience.
Why This Role Is Exciting
- Every day is different.
- One day you might be designing a campaign to boost participation in student elections. The next you could be creating social content for a major student event, updating website content, producing email communications, or analysing campaign performance to see what resonates most with students.
This is an opportunity to be the creative force behind a busy, vibrant organisation where your work will be seen by thousands of students across digital and print channels.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
