Rose Uniacke is an exceptional, globally recognised luxury design business, spanning architectural interior design and a highly distinctive retail proposition across furniture, lighting, home accessories, paint and textiles. With an enduring love and knowledge of furniture, Rose began her career as a restorer, and antiques dealer. Her discerning eye for detail and timeless aesthetic naturally evolved into designing interiors, bespoke furniture, lighting, and home accessories that continue to attract international acclaim, reflecting a refined, minimalist philosophy.
Role Overview
Rose Uniacke is looking for a brand-led and commercially driven Marketing and Digital Director to lead marketing, customer and digital activity across the business with a clear mandate for growth. Reporting to the Managing Director and working closely with the Founder, you will join the RU leadership team and be accountable for driving brand awareness, delivering commercial results in eCommerce and trade partnerships and enhancing our customer experience.
This is a senior leadership position, overseeing a lean, multi-disciplinary team spanning brand and creative, digital and e-commerce, and new business development. Alongside setting the overall marketing and growth strategy, you will lead press and PR, own the e-commerce and CRM agenda, and build a clear understanding of our customers across retail, trade and international audiences.
You will have the strategic vision to build a marketing and growth plan that protects and grows the brand, the commercial rigour to own budgets and targets, and the hands-on capability to deliver at pace. Passionate about design and craftsmanship, you will bring both creative judgement and data-driven decision making to everything you do.
Reports to: Managing Director
Working Days: Monday–Friday
Working Hours: 9:00am–6:00pm, with four days a week based in our Chelsea office.

- Build brand strategy and creative direction across photography, content and campaign execution for projects, products and channels.
- Drive targeted brand awareness with the audiences that matter most to Rose Uniacke, using press, content and creative to support long-term growth.
- Develop and lead the press and media strategy, working with external PR partners to build and protect relationships with key press and shape project-led stories.
- Oversee all marketing collateral and communications, ensuring they are consistent with the Rose Uniacke brand and voice.
eCommerce & Digital
- Own Rose Uniacke's e-commerce growth strategy, setting commercial targets for online sales, conversion and growth.
- Develop digital marketing capability across owned and paid channels including social, email and SEO/AEO/GEO to drive traffic, engagement and sales growth while ensuring appropriate ROAS and ROI in marketing spend.
- Direct the website roadmap and trading calendar, ensuring the site is visually on-brand, user-friendly and commercially optimised.
- Manage relationships with digital agencies and technology partners supporting our digital channels.
Customer Strategy, Insight and Experience
- Build a deep understanding of Rose Uniacke's customer types, developing clear personas and segmentation strategies across retail and trade audiences globally.
- Own the customer insight and data agenda, using CRM and other data sources to inform decisions on product, marketing and service across the business.
- Develop and lead a customer communications strategy, tailored to different customer segments and delivered through CRM, email, events and other direct channels.
- Define and evolve the CRM platform, systems and processes needed to support customer understanding and communication at scale.
- Champion the customer perspective across the business, ensuring insight informs strategy and decision making company wide.
New Business, Trade & Events
- Oversee new business development activity, growing the trade pipeline and strengthening relationships with architects, interior designers and trade partners.
- Develop and deliver Rose Uniacke's events and showcase strategy, including presence at industry events, pop-ups and competitions, and management of private events.
- Build relationships with strategic external partners to grow distribution.

Leadership & Commercial Management
- Lead and develop a lean, multi-disciplinary team, setting clear objectives and building capability across the group.
- Build a high-performance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Own and report against clear growth targets across brand awareness, e-commerce performance, customer growth and retention, and trade pipeline.
- Own the marketing budget, tracking spend and return, and adjusting plans as needed.
- Develop, support and grow high-performing team of marketing and digital specialists.
- Track and report on marketing, e-commerce, customer and new business metrics to measure impact and inform strategy.
Skills Required
- At least 10 years, ideally 15, of experience in a senior marketing leadership role, with a strong track record of driving growth across brand, digital and e-commerce.
- Proven team leadership experience, having built and managed a lean, multi-disciplinary marketing team, for example spanning creative, digital and business development.
- Strong commercial capability, comfortable owning a budget, commercial targets or P&L, and being accountable for return on marketing investment.
- Data driven, confident using performance data, CRM and customer insight to inform decisions across digital, e-commerce and campaign activity.
- Experience owning customer insight, segmentation or CRM strategy, ideally within a premium, direct-to-consumer or multi-channel retail business.
- Demonstrable digital and e-commerce experience (paid, CRM/email, SEO, website trading), not brand and campaign work alone.
- Skilled in coordinating, planning and successfully executing events, from concept through to delivery.
- Proactive and autonomous, comfortable taking ownership and driving initiatives independently.
- Strategic thinker with a focus on long term brand and commercial growth, balanced with hands-on delivery.
- Creative thinker, able to develop strong ideas, concepts and campaigns.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Genuine interest in, or experience within, interiors, architecture, antiques or furniture design.
