About Redditch United Football Club
Redditch United Football Club is an ambitious community-focused organisation with football at its heart. The club operates across a wide range of areas including first team football, education, community engagement, venue hire, hospitality, events, commercial partnerships, and initiatives that deliver positive social impact.
The club is seeking an ambitious, creative, and commercially-minded Marketing and Media Manager to lead the promotion and growth of the organisation across all areas of its operation.
The Role
This is not a traditional football club media role focused solely on promoting fixtures and producing social media content. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering a marketing strategy that supports the growth of the entire football club business.
The role will focus on increasing awareness, engagement, participation, and commercial opportunities across all areas of the organisation, including increasing matchday attendances, promoting event spaces, supporting education programmes, showcasing community impact, and strengthening relationships with supporters, partners, and local stakeholders.
The club already benefits from a committed team of volunteer media staff, including photographers, videographers, designers, commentators, and content contributors. The Marketing and Media Manager will provide leadership, direction, and strategy to maximise the impact of this team, ensuring that content and communications are aligned with the club’s wider objectives.
Alongside the strategic responsibility, the role will include hands-on content creation, producing engaging marketing materials, written content, photography, video, and digital communications where required.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
