The Role
Tangerine is an ambitious, independent agency with a strong track record of delivering work that makes a genuine difference for clients. As demand for our expertise grows, we’re investing further in how we attract, engage and win the right opportunities.
We’re looking for a commercially minded Marketing & New Business Manager to drive forward our approach to new business, lead generation, brand visibility and reputation building. This role will play a pivotal part in a team strengthening our market presence, opening new doors, and accelerating sustainable growth with brands we genuinely want to work with.
It’s a hands-on role, blending strategic thinking with delivery. You’ll push our growth approach forward while actively building internal and external relationships. As Growth Lead you’ll sit at the heart of the agency, working closely with our Executive Board and senior leaders across Consumer, B2B and Corporate. Your role is to co-ordinate our marketing and new business workstreams to ensure everything we do to grow the business – marketing, comms, PR, events, pitches and partnerships – is aligned, intentional and commercially focused.
Your remit spans four core pillars:
- Growth & Lead Generation Campaigns
- Brand and Reputation building
- New Business support
- Events, Networking & Partnerships

Growth & Lead Generation
- Co-ordinate and plan campaigns that build a strong pipeline of high-quality opportunities
- Work with the senior team to track and engage priority sectors and brands aligned with Tangerine’s ambitions

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
