Marketing and Operations Executive/Manager

Salary: £30,000–£35,000 FTE with bonus, We are also open to appointing a more experienced candidate on a three or four-day basis, with flexibility on the full-time equivalent salary.

Reporting to: COO and Co-Founder

The role

We’re looking for someone with experience in either marketing or operations who is excited by the opportunity to take ownership of an important part of AIConfident’s growth.

The role spans marketing and client operations, but we don’t expect one person to be equally experienced in every area. You may bring a stronger marketing background and take the lead on content, events, partnerships and enquiry generation. Or you may bring deeper operations experience and focus on improving client coordination, automating processes and strengthening our financial operations. We’ll tailor the role around the strengths, experience and interests of the successful candidate, so we don’t expect you to lead in every area. You’ll take meaningful ownership of the area where you can add most value, while also being comfortable contributing across the wider business when needed.

Whichever area you lead, you’ll also need to be comfortable contributing across the wider business. We’re a small and growing team, so this won’t be a narrowly defined role: you’ll help where needed, spot opportunities to improve how we work and bring energy and momentum to the company. Throughout you’ll work closely with the founders, with clear strategic direction and support, while also having the autonomy to shape and build your area over time.

Who are we

AI is changing how organisations work, and we believe the way it is adopted matters. AIConfident helps leaders and teams use AI with confidence, ambition and responsibility - making sure the technology delivers benefits for society.

We bring deep experience in AI adoption, public policy and working with senior leaders. Our founders were shaping national conversations about AI long before generative AI became mainstream, and we now work with an exceptional range of organisations across the private, public and charitable sectors.

We are a small, ambitious and thoughtful team with a clear social purpose. We care deeply about the quality of our work, the relationships we build and making sure AI creates genuine benefits for society. You’ll join us at an exciting stage of growth, with the opportunity to work closely with the founders and help build the marketing and operations function as the company scales. Your work will have a direct impact on our success.

What you’ll do

The precise balance will depend on your experience and strengths, but the role will cover two core areas.

Marketing and growth

  • You’ll turn AIConfident’s founders’ expertise and ideas into consistent marketing activity that increases our visibility and generates new enquiries.
  • You’ll manage our marketing calendar and coordinate activity across LinkedIn, newsletters, the website, case studies, events and partnerships. This will include drafting and repurposing content, working with the founders to develop ideas and delivering the marketing plan.
  • You’ll also track what is working and we want you to bring ideas, test different messages and formats, and help us build a more repeatable marketing approach over time.
  • Initially the founders will set the overall direction and remain involved in shaping and approving key content, but you’ll increasingly take ownership of turning that direction into action.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
