12 month fixed-term (maternity cover)

Location - Monkspath, Solihull

40 Hours per Week - Monday to Friday (8.30am - 6.00pm)

Salary: £27,000

30 days holiday per annum

15% staff discount

Role Summary

We are looking to recruit a full-time Marketing Executive to join our Commercial Department on a 12-month fixed term contract covering maternity leave.

Farmfoods is a successful, independent retailer specialising in frozen food. We are renowned for excellent quality and great value, without compromise. There are over 350 Farmfoods shops across the UK, supported by four distribution centres and our Commercial Office based in Monkspath, Solihull.

Our Commercial Department is responsible for delivering marketing campaigns that reach millions of customers every week. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy, fast-paced team where no two days are the same. Your work will help deliver campaigns seen by millions of customers each week across our stores, digital channels and social media platforms, playing an important role in how customers engage with the Farmfoods brand.

Main duties will include:

  • Constructing, proofreading and signing off marketing materials, including our national door drop leaflets, marketing emails and in-store point of sale.
  • Working with colleagues, suppliers and external agencies to ensure marketing materials are delivered accurately and on time.
  • Creating, scheduling and publishing engaging content across our social media channels.
  • Promoting social media posts through advertisements and boosting.
  • Monitoring and analysing social media performance, reporting on campaign results and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Managing influencer relationships, including correspondence, product gifting and campaign administration.
  • Supporting the wider Marketing and Commercial team with the planning and delivery of promotional campaigns and other marketing projects as required.
  • Sending store communications on upcoming activity.

The successful candidate

The successful candidate will have excellent written communication skills together with exceptional attention to detail. They will be highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities and work accurately to deadlines.

Applicants should have a good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign and Photoshop, together with proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

A relevant qualification in Marketing or a related subject would be advantageous but is not essential.

The office is home to many of the Company’s Directors and Senior Management Team, so the successful candidate must be comfortable and confident communicating with people at all levels of seniority, as well as external suppliers and agencies.
