Reports to: Marketing Manager

As the business continues to grow, we are looking for a Part-Time Marketing Assistant to support the Marketing Manager with day-to-day marketing activity, content creation, internal communications and brand development.
The Role
This is a varied and hands-on role, ideal for someone who is creative, organised and keen to build experience in marketing within a busy project-led business.
The Part-Time Marketing Assistant will support the Marketing Manager across social media, website updates, campaign activity, content creation, design tasks and general marketing administration.
You will help keep Copius visible, professional and consistent across all channels, while supporting marketing activity linked to recruitment campaigns, business development, events and internal projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the creation and scheduling of social media content, particularly for LinkedIn.
- Assist with writing and editing posts, website content, candidate communications, blogs and campaign materials.
- Help maintain and update the company website, including job-related content, service pages and news updates.
- Create simple branded graphics, templates and marketing assets using tools such as Canva or similar platforms.
- Support recruitment marketing campaigns across different sectors and locations.
- Assist with event marketing activity, including promotional materials, social posts, photography, follow-up content and basic coordination.
- Help gather content from teams across the business, including site updates, project news, and internal achievements.
- Support the Marketing Manager with brand consistency across documents, presentations, social media and digital channels.
- Assist with email campaigns, surveys and candidate/client communications.
- Monitor basic marketing activity, such as social media engagement, campaign responses and website content updates.
- Carry out general marketing administration and support ad hoc projects as required.

About You
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable and comfortable working in a varied role. You do not need to know everything, but you should be willing to learn, take initiative and bring ideas to the table.
The ideal candidate will be organised, creative and confident with written communication. You should enjoy creating content, working with people and helping bring marketing ideas to life.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Strong written communication skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Confident using social media.
- Basic design skills using Canva or similar tools.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple small tasks at once.
- Comfortable working independently and asking questions when needed.
- A positive, proactive approach.

Desirable Skills and Experience
- Experience in a marketing, communications, recruitment or administrative role.
- Experience updating websites.
- Basic understanding of email marketing or campaign support.
- Experience creating social media graphics or branded documents.
- Interest in project-based industries.
- Basic video editing skills would be helpful but are not essential.

Working Pattern
This is a part-time position. Exact hours and working pattern can be discussed, with flexibility depending on business needs and candidate availability.
