Marketing Assistant
Joule’s Brewery is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Marketing Assistant to help bring our pubs, beer, wines and brand stories to life.
This is a varied role combining content creation, digital marketing, campaign support and brand development across our brewery and pub estate. One day could be capturing content at a pub launch or event, while the next could be focused on social media planning, website updates or campaign delivery. From pub developments, beer campaigns, pub launches and social storytelling, every day is different.
About Joule’s Brewery
Joule’s is an independent Shropshire brewer with over 200 years of history and proudly owns the sixth oldest beer trademark in the world. We’re proud to create pubs that sit at the heart of their communities, places built around great beer, great wine, great food and great people.
We’re entering an exciting stage of growth, with major Birmingham developments launching this year alongside the continued rollout of Château Bessan wines across our estate following the purchase of our own vineyard in Bordeaux.
The Role
Working closely with our Brand Manager, you'll support marketing activity across our Brewery, growing Taphouse estate, events, digital campaigns and recruitment marketing, gaining hands-on experience across a wide variety of exciting projects.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
