Role Purpose/Summary:
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to take their first steps in a marketing role, making real impact to a high-profile campaign.
Working with the Product Marketing Manager, you will be assisting with the execution and analysis of high-impact high-performing marketing plans for the TV Choice Awards, with a particular focus on driving awareness of the event and voting in the awards categories.
You’ll have the opportunity to learn about campaign management, brand awareness, lead generation and events marketing across the main marketing communications channels including print, digital, CRM (email), social media and appropriate channel selection and use.
You’ll be given training on all the tasks in your remit, so you’re able to help ensure all marketing activities are on-brand, delivered at pace, to an impeccable standard.
Primary tasks:
- Assisting with implementation of marketing tactics including:
- Writing, scheduling and analysing organic social media posts
- Creating video content and testing use across TikTok, Instagram and YouTube
- Distributing and tracking all print activity including advertising and editorial content
- Briefing, proofing and analysing email marketing sends (CRM)
- Writing and publishing website articles
- Distributing and tracking all website advertising including run of site and homepage takeovers
- Resizing of graphics where needed
- Analysing paid media activity across social media, Google PPC etc
- Assisting the Product Marketing Manager with preparing reporting in advance of their meetings as required
- Support team with any additional admin as required

Required Knowledge, Skills, Capabilities:
- Communication – you’ll need to be comfortable with lots of Teams video calls and approaching colleagues in person on office days
- Self-starter – able to manage own workload, but know when to seek help with prioritizing or training
- Attention to detail – be able to work accurately, but also at pace
- Multitasking – you’ll learn how to juggle multiple responsibilities and deadlines, prioritising your work
- Flexible – adaptability with positive approach to new challenges and change
- Creativity – you’ll start to learn and apply creative judgement and consider its application in each marketing channel
This is an initial 3-month contract.
