Business Development & Marketing Executive

Blue Legal is partnering with a leading boutique law firm to recruit a Business Development & Marketing Executive for its London office. Working closely with the Business Development Director and Marketing & Communications Director, the successful candidate will support a broad range of business development and marketing initiatives that help drive client engagement, raise the firm's profile and support its continued growth.

The Responsibilities:

  • Manage the firm's legal directory submissions programme, coordinating high-quality submissions for leading legal directories and working closely with partners to gather matter information, manage deadlines and oversee referee processes.
  • Support business development initiatives by conducting market research, identifying new business opportunities and assisting with client targeting, cross-practice campaigns and relationship-building activities.
  • Develop and maintain business development materials, pitch content and proposal documentation, ensuring resources remain accurate, engaging and up to date.
  • Coordinate the firm's CRM system, maintaining data integrity, supporting user adoption and assisting with the continued development and optimisation of the platform.
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of client events, networking opportunities and business development meetings, working alongside internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Analyse legal directory and market feedback, providing insight to support future submissions, profile-raising opportunities and business development strategy.
  • Work collaboratively with partners and colleagues across the firm to deliver marketing and communications projects that support the firm's strategic growth objectives.

The Candidate:

  • Previous experience within a marketing and/or business development role in a legal or wider professional services environment.
  • Excellent written communication, organisational and project management skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach, with experience using CRM systems and an interest in market research, client development and delivering high-quality marketing initiatives.
