About Jonathan Lea Network
At Jonathan Lea Network, we do things differently.
We’re an ambitious and growing business law firm with a reputation for providing practical, commercial advice to businesses across the UK.
Marketing isn’t an afterthought here, it’s central to our growth.
We’ve invested heavily in our brand, technology and marketing strategy because we believe exceptional legal expertise deserves exceptional marketing.
Why this role is different
This isn’t a role where you’ll spend your days simply scheduling LinkedIn posts.
You’ll work alongside experienced marketing professionals, helping bring our strategy to life through outstanding content, digital marketing and business development.
You’ll learn how professional services marketing really works while helping shape the future of one of Sussex’s most progressive law firms.
You’ll also work with AI and emerging marketing technologies as part of your everyday role, helping us continually improve the way we market the firm.
The Opportunity
You’ll become part of a collaborative marketing team responsible for increasing the firm’s profile, strengthening our brand and generating new business opportunities.
Working closely with our solicitors, you’ll transform complex legal knowledge into engaging content that educates, informs and attracts clients.
No two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities
Content Marketing
- Liaise with solicitors and turn technical legal expertise into engaging articles.
- Write website copy, blogs, newsletters and LinkedIn posts.
- Create client success stories and case studies.
- Repurpose content into videos, graphics and downloadable resources.
- Ensure all content reflects the firm’s tone of voice.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
