Marketing & Business Development Manager

A newly created opportunity has arisen for an experienced Marketing & Business Development Manager to join a growing professional services group at an exciting stage of its evolution. Working across multiple business units, you’ll play a key role in aligning Business Development and Marketing activity, improving commercial performance, and ensuring strategic initiatives are delivered effectively.

Reporting into senior leadership, you’ll lead:

  • Marketing planning
  • Performance reporting
  • CRM optimisation
  • Team coordination

Helping create a more joined-up, data-driven approach to growth. You’ll also take ownership of a significant HubSpot implementation project, ensuring the business maximises the value of its commercial data, processes, and reporting capability.


Key Responsibilities

  • Align Marketing and Business Development activity across the group
  • Develop KPI frameworks, reporting dashboards, and commercial performance metrics
  • Monitor pipeline activity, lead generation, and conversion performance
  • Lead the implementation and optimisation of HubSpot
  • Improve commercial processes, reporting, and operational effectiveness
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders to translate strategy into action
  • Manage and develop Marketing and Business Development team members
  • Deliver insight and recommendations that support future growth

About You

We’re open to candidates from a variety of backgrounds but require:

  • Commercial marketing experience, with close collaboration with Business Development teams
  • Exposure to Marketing operations, business development, and CRM leadership (specifically HubSpot)
  • Preference for B2B or professional services environments

You’ll bring:

  • Experience driving commercial performance and operational improvement
  • Strong CRM, reporting, and data analysis capability
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Experience delivering business change, projects, or system implementations
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to turn strategy into measurable outcomes
  • Previous HubSpot experience is highly advantageous
