The Opportunity:

The Marketing Capability Director (Global) is a high-impact role responsible for building world-class marketing capability and product education across the business. The role exists to ensure teams in both Americas and International regions are supported with the right knowledge and tools to execute consistently excellent marketing and drive growth.

This role will be highly collaborative, working closely with regional leaders, the Global Education team, and functional partners to shape and deliver a modern, scalable and digitally enabled learning ecosystem. A key focus will be evolving how product and nutrition education is developed, accessed and experienced, ensuring that it is structured and available on-demand, powered by AI.

Key Accountabilities

Marketing Capability & Learning Strategy

  • Define and deliver a best-in-class marketing capability and product education strategy, aligned to business growth priorities and brand recruitment objectives.
  • Translate regional (Americas & International) capability needs into a clear, prioritized global roadmap.
  • Lead ongoing learning needs analysis to identify skill gaps and future capability requirements.
  • Own and manage the annual learning budget and KPI framework, continuously optimizing based on impact and feedback.
  • Work in close partnership with the Global Education team (US-based) and Regional Education Champions to drive synergies and avoid duplication.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Brand Marketing, Sales, Shopper Marketing and other teams to ensure learning solutions are practical, relevant and business-led.

Marketing Capability Programme Development & Delivery

  • Lead the evolution, rollout and embedding of core marketing capability programmes (e.g. Brilliant Brand Building and advanced modules).
  • Design and deliver a blended learning approach, combining in-person, virtual and on-demand formats.
  • Ensure content reflects current and emerging best practice, keeping teams at the forefront of modern marketing thinking.

Product, Category & Nutrition Education

  • Work with the Product Education team to develop fit-for-purpose learning modules that allow teams to complete training in their own time, at their own pace. Work with subject matter experts to simplify complex information into engaging, digestible learning experiences, ensuring content is structured, modular and role-relevant.
  • Support the creation of best-in-class education programmes for both internal audiences and selected external stakeholders.

Digital, AI-Enabled Learning Ecosystem

  • Establish a centralized hub to house all marketing, product and nutrition education content. Ensure the platform is AI-enabled, allowing teams to easily access the most relevant content for their role or need.
  • Define governance, standards and ways of working to ensure content remains accurate, current and easy to navigate.
  • Drive adoption of on-demand learning and self-serve development across the organization.

What you will bring:

  • Degree (Bachelor or Master) in Marketing, Business, Education, Learning & Development or a related discipline.
  • Experience in marketing, with significant exposure to capability building, learning or training in a regional or global context.
  • Strong understanding of modern marketing capability frameworks and L&D best practices.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and AI-enabled content tools and platforms.
  • Experience managing an external agency or vendor ecosystem in a learning or capability context.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and delivering engaging learning programmes across different cultures and regions.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across geographies, balancing global consistency with regional relevance.
  • Experience building or evolving digital learning platforms and content ecosystems; exposure to AI-enabled learning solutions is a strong advantage.
  • Confident facilitator, coach and communicator with the credibility to influence senior stakeholders.
