Marketing & Communication Director
How Will You Make an Impact?
As Marketing & Communication Director, you will be the driving force behind Cartier UK&I’s success in the UK and Ireland market. You’ll translate the global vision and regional priorities into actionable plans that resonate locally, crafting initiatives tailored to the market’s unique specifics—this is not just a legacy business, it’s a brand legacy.
Your passion for the Maison will translate into tangible results—fueling brand equity, igniting awareness, and achieving sustainable sales performance across every product category.
Marketing & Communication Local Leadership
- Elaborate a 3-year action plan, in close collaboration with the region, local Executive Committee (ExCo), and drive local implementation while aligning with global brand guidelines, regional ambitions, and market trends.
Brand Communication Excellence
- Lead the deployment of 360° initiatives, including media, PR, ambassadorships, and events, to strengthen brand equity and increase brand desirability.
- Maintain strong relationships with key press contacts while identifying high-visibility brand and creative storytelling opportunities in partnership with HQ and the region.
- Implement Maison’s image and guidelines through strategic media planning, PR campaigns, influencer/ambassador engagements, and events strategy.
- Plan, allocate, and monitor the local A&P (Above-the-Line & Promotional) budget, coordinating closely with regional communications teams.
Performance & Market Insights
- Continuously track and analyse brand awareness, engagement, and net promotion scores (NPS), identifying gaps and execution improvements to meet targets.
- Analyze competitive survey findings to anticipate competitor moves and develop proactive strategies to maintain a competitive edge.

Product Portfolio Performance
- Oversee the execution of local product plans, driving sales targets across product categories and channels—including premium launches.
- Enhance category performance by:
- Supporting boutiques and partners with impactful in-store visibility, visual merchandising, and staff training.
- Collaborating with local and regional Operations to maintain optimal stock levels for retail and wholesale channels, maximizing sales potential.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, inspire, and develop the Marketing & Communication team, driving creativity, accountability, and excellence while aligning with Cartier’s culture and values.
- Foster a high-performance environment with:
- Clear annual team objectives and rigorous performance management.
- Proactive learning and development (L&D) planning tailored to individual growth needs.
- Regular communication of the Maison’s vision, strategy, and values to engage and unite the team.
How Will You Experience Success With Us?
You are a highly accomplished, results-driven Marketing & Communication leader, ready to scale brand growth and deliver measurable impact.
Key Criteria:
✔ 15+ years of leadership experience in luxury or high-end brand marketing/communications—preferably in international corporate environments. ✔ Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, paired with demonstrated excellence. ✔ Proven track record of exceeding performance targets while adapting to diverse markets and consumer behaviors. ✔ Commercially astute, with a deep commercial Acumen and a customer-focused mindset. ✔ Agile, inspirational leader with exceptional interpersonal skills to build and coach high-performing teams. ✔ Mastery of English, coupled with the ability to build trust seamlessly with teams at all levels.
