Company Description

Wycombe Food Hub (WFH) is a community-focused organization that makes life more affordable by repurposing surplus food, clothes, and household items that would otherwise go to waste. By redirecting these resources, WFH helps reduce environmental impact while supporting individuals and families facing financial pressures. The hub operates locally to provide accessible, low-cost essentials and promote sustainable living. Team members work closely with the community, partner organizations, and volunteers to maximize the positive social and environmental outcomes of WFH’s activities.

Job Purpose

The Marketing & Communications Coordinator supports the delivery of all marketing, communications, and fundraising activity across Wycombe Food Hub and the Community Resilience Hub.

This includes promoting the Food Hub, Repair Hub, Bobkins Bazaar, community events, financial wellbeing programmes, early-help services, and partner-delivered activities.

The role ensures consistent branding, effective digital communications, and strong engagement with volunteers, donors, partners, and the wider community.

It also supports the coordination and administration of fundraising campaigns, donor stewardship, and community engagement events.

Responsibilities

Marketing & Communications

  • Deliver effective, integrated marketing activities to increase awareness and uptake of all Hub services.
  • Maintain consistent branding across the Hub’s expanding portfolio (Food Hub, Repair Hub, Bobkins Bazaar, Community Wellbeing programmes, partner services).
  • Administer daily digital content updates across the website, social media channels, and digital screens within the Hub.
  • Produce internal and external newsletters highlighting impact, opportunities, events, and volunteer stories.
  • Coordinate internal and external communications using EPOS, Canva, Mailchimp, CRM systems, social media tools, Wordpress, and marketing automation tools.
  • Work with managers and service leads to develop in-store and in-Hub marketing materials, including posters, point-of-sale displays, service information boards, and volunteer recruitment materials.
  • Support the development of campaigns that promote the Hub’s new service areas (Repair Hub, Financial Wellbeing, Early Help, Community Support, etc.).
  • Provide regular reports on marketing performance, engagement, and campaign outcomes to the Board.
  • Administer the central inbox (contact@wycombefoodhub.org) and ensure timely, professional responses.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
