YOUR NEW JOB
As our Marketing Communications Executive, you’ll report to the UK Marketing Communications Manager and contribute to core communication strategies for the UK market. We’re seeking someone with a digital-first mindset and enthusiasm for advancing marketing communications within sports.
This is a full-time role. Eligibility to work in the UK is mandatory.
Your core areas of focus will include:
AS OUR MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS EXECUTIVE, YOU WILL TACKLE TWO KEY AREAS
External Communications
- Create and distribute industry-focused content for the SPORTFIVE website.
- Collaborate with the Global Social Media Manager to source and share UK-related content on SPORTFIVE’s digital platforms.
- Support the development and corporate press release distribution.
- Assist in planning and delivering SPORTFIVE networking events.
- Develop award-winning submission applications aligned with business goals.
- Work with the Global Marketing Communications team and market leads, ensuring consistent messaging, best practices, and brand alignment.

Internal Communications
- Document and publish business news & updates via the employee intranet.
- Maintain and update the employee intranet (content, tools, and engagement).
- Partner with HR to create and circulate engaging HR-related communications.
- Produce a monthly internal newsletter.
- Organise, support, and deliver town hall meetings plus internal initiatives like:
- Employee Forum
- UK Women’s Network
- Speaker opportunities
- Collaborate with the Office Coordinator to plan and execute company social events.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
We’re looking for an individual with:
- 1–2 years’ experience in marketing communications, journalism, or a related field.
- A true passion for sports marketing and the business of sport.
- Strong writing skills for diverse content: articles, press releases, and digital content.
- Excellent verbal communication, including stakeholder engagement.
- Organisational acumen with an unwavering attention to detail.
- A solid grasp of social media and content strategies.
- Experience in event planning & execution.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships.
