Role: Marketing & Communications Manager – Dartford
Salary: £35k- £45k DOE
Working Hours: 08:30am- 17:30pm Monday to Friday
Benefits:

General overview:
The Marketing & Communications Manager will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the external brand presence using customer-facing communications. The role will ensure that all external communications, marketing collateral, website content, social media activity, and customer-facing materials are professional, accurate, consistent, and aligned with the brand.
Working closely with the Sales, Commercial, and Product teams, the Marketing & Communications Manager will review, create, and coordinate content that supports customer engagement, promotes our products and services, and strengthens our market presence.
Responsibilities:
Brand Management
- Act as a guardian of the brand.
- Ensure consistency across all external communications and materials.
- Maintain brand templates and marketing assets.
- Support the development of company branding initiatives where required.
Marketing Collateral
- Create, update, and maintain customer-facing collateral including:
- Brochures
- Flyers
- Product guides
- Customer presentations
- Exhibition materials
- Promotional items
- Technical literature
- Ensure all materials are professionally presented, accurate, and aligned with current branding guidelines.

External Communications
- Draft and coordinate external customer communications.
- Support the preparation of customer announcements, newsletters, and business updates.
- Ensure all external communications reflect the brand and tone of voice.
- Review communications produced by other departments to ensure consistency and quality.
Social Media
- Coordinate and maintain social media presence.
- Create and schedule content across relevant platforms.
- Promote company news, product launches, exhibitions, and customer success stories.
- Monitor engagement and recommend improvements to increase visibility.
Website Management
- Maintain and regularly update the website.
- Monitor website performance and identify opportunities to improve user experience, ensuring all information is accurate, relevant, and up to date.
- Work with external website providers where required to implement improvements and updates.
- Ensure new products, services, and company updates are reflected on the website in a timely manner.

Internal Support
- Support the Sales and Commercial teams with customer-facing materials.
- Assist with exhibitions, trade shows, and industry events.
- Liaise with suppliers, designers, and marketing agencies where required.
- Support company-wide communications projects as requested.
Reporting
- Monitor website traffic and social media engagement.
- Produce simple monthly reports on marketing activity and performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer engagement and brand visibility.
The ideal candidate will have experience of:
- Experience of working within a B2B marketing role, ideally within Electrical or distribution-based industries.
- Managing website content and updates.
- Producing professional marketing and communication materials.
- Coordinating social media activity.
- Working with external suppliers, designers, or marketing agencies.
- Reviewing and editing written communications.
- Maintaining brand standards across multiple communication channels.
It’s a bonus if you also have:
- Experience within manufacturing, distribution, industrial, or technical sectors.
- Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design software.
- Understanding of SEO and website analytics.
