Carterwood - Marketing Manager
Carterwood provides the critical market insight that underpins capital allocation in Healthcare Real Estate. We help investors, operators, developers, and advisors make better decisions about where to invest, how to grow, and how to deploy capital with confidence. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a commercially minded Marketing Manager to take ownership of our marketing function and strengthen how we communicate our value to the market.
The Role
You report to the Co-Founder and sit as part of the Commercial team to align marketing with business priorities, improve how we communicate our value, and ensure marketing activity supports revenue generation and client engagement. You also deliver marketing across the business which includes our B2B platform and our advisory services. You will be expected to take ownership, prioritise effectively, and ensure delivery across multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment. This role is suited to someone who is comfortable helping set direction while remaining hands-on in delivery within a growing business. Key responsibilities include:
Deliver marketing strategy
- Develop and deliver marketing plans aligned to commercial priorities
- Translate data and insight into clear, commercially relevant messaging
- Strengthen market position, value proposition, and brand
- Prioritise activity to maximise commercial impact and pipeline
- Ensure all activity reflects Carterwood’s professionalism and values
Develop marketing assets and campaigns
- Own and improve sales and marketing materials
- Manage and deliver website, social, email, PR, and events
- Deliver integrated campaigns supporting growth and engagement
- Maintain consistent messaging across all channels
- Support new propositions and market opportunities

Coordinate delivery and align marketing across the business including managing budget
- Act as central coordination point for marketing activity
- Align closely with Commercial, Advisory, and Data teams
- Manage external consultants to deliver value and quality
- Deliver within budget and devise KPI’s to track key metrics
- Ensure delivery is structured, prioritised, and consistent
Plan and deliver events
- Lead the planning and delivery of Carterwood's events programme, ensuring every event reflects our brand and commercial objectives
- Coordinate a small number of high-quality roundtables, conference sponsorship, client events, and speaking opportunities
- Work closely with the Co-Founder, Commercial Director, and EA to ensure events are well organised, professionally delivered, and commercially focused
The successful candidate
In order to succeed in this role you will have to meet the majority of the essential requirements:
- Proven ability to deliver the marketing function independently, aligned to commercial objectives, in a complex, data-led or advisory business.
- Strong experience in messaging, positioning, and content within complex, data-led or advisory businesses
- Ability to translate technical products into clear, commercially relevant messaging
- Strong commercial awareness, linking marketing to pipeline, engagement, and revenue
- Experience with analytical tools including Google Analytics 4, as well as platform-specific.
- Knowledge and experience in email marketing, in particular MailChimp.
- Able to manage multiple stakeholders, workstreams, and suppliers effectively in a lean environment
- Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Microsoft Copilot, and embrace AI solutions
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with priorities which change regularly

Desirable experience include:
- Experience within professional services, consultancy, healthcare, property, or data-led businesses
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to align marketing with revenue objectives
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as Pipedrive
