Bioprocessing at Ecolab enables advanced support for biopharmaceutical development, optimizing purification processes, improving manufacturing efficiency, and accelerating time to market. We are currently searching for a Marketing Communications Specialist (f/m/d) to support our team for 9 to 12 months. In this role, you will be responsible for working with MarCom leadership to develop and execute marketing communications campaigns. The campaigns will effectively convey key messages to the market for the Bioprocessing business, supporting the achievement of its goals and objectives. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Communications Manager, this role utilizes both traditional and digital communication channels and collaborates with various departments across the organization to ensure impactful messaging. Main Responsibilities: Take an active role in supporting the Bioprocessing division’s annual marketing communications strategies. Produce impactful marketing communications that enhance the plans, making use of both established and new (to us) channels throughout the customer journey. Be responsible for owning and executing the social media strategy for the Bioprocessing business. Drafting posts and keeping content engaging, relatable and connected to the key campaigns for the business. The role requires that different content is tested and understood in order to help inform future initiatives. Introduce and support new and emerging content ideas that will help drive leads and sales. (Also to include webinars, expert interviews, sell sheets, web content, interactive tools, videos, and paid social media.) Working with marketing partners and MarCom processes, prepare updates to collateral and content (printed, digital and web), as well as development of new content and web pages as required. Work to ensure the key audience is determined, and the messages are aligned to the core campaigns, while delivering impactful, informative content that supports the commercial team efforts. Serve as a marketing communications expert and advisor, partnering with the Product Management team and the Segment team; adding value to critical campaigns through data- and fact-driven channel and message recommendations. Leverage existing Product Management deliverables and information to identify best channels and mediums to reach target audiences; champion best practices for relevant channels. Together with Product Management, Segment and the wider MarCom team, support and execute launch plans for new product introductions, as needed. Serve as a partner in cross-functional teams within the Ecolab Life Sciences sector and broader Ecolab, helping link communications efforts across programs or businesses and providing feedback. Team with Trade Show Coordinator to bring trade show calendar to life by drafting copy, selecting and sourcing visuals, recommending booth placement and layout, delivering social and commercial support for events, and working with the thought leadership team to ensure presentations and posters are created, formatted and approved in good time for the event. Write copy and content to support Marketing Communications deliverables including digital ads, trade show booths, social media posts, and video scripts. Supporting the commercial team with updates to content and collateral, including presentation decks, sell sheets and technical information, including the upkeep of WIDEN, the knowledge hub and the website for our products. Own the process for webinar promotion and engagement. Working with digital, deliver copy for email invites, abstracts for the content and social copy to promote the webinar series. Work with the presenter on refining the decks and work with digital to ensure quick follow up post event to engage with as many MQLs as possible. Collaborate with Digital MarCom team to identify and leverage content placement opportunities to increase engagement and drive leads. Serve as the agencies' contact, assign tasks, and ensure timely delivery. Communicate effectively with teammates, leadership, stakeholders, and customers by being attentive, responsive, proactive, and sensitive to competing demands.
