About Us

Cardzone is a family-owned business established in 2005, with a strong presence across the UK through our diverse portfolio of brands, including Paper Kisses, Hallmark, and Yankee Candle.

In 2024, we acquired Clintons, a much-loved retailer with a rich heritage in greeting cards and celebratory products. Since then, we have been building a more focused marketing function to protect and enhance the Clintons brand, supporting over 160 stores alongside our social media channels and email marketing campaigns. Following a major brand refresh in 2025, including a new visual identity and significant investment in store refits, this is an exciting time to join the business as we continue to evolve the brand and create engaging experiences for our customers.

This role will play an important part in supporting the continued refresh of Clintons, while also helping our wider Cardzone estate grow through successful marketing campaigns.

Job Purpose

  • An ideal opportunity for someone looking for their first marketing role or a fresh challenge, with the chance to gain hands-on experience across all aspects of retail marketing.
  • Support the planning and delivery of impactful in-store marketing campaigns, creating promotional displays and point-of-sale materials that maximise customer engagement, footfall, and sales during key trading seasons. This includes submitting print briefs, managing relationships with print suppliers, and identifying innovative ways to communicate our card and gifting proposition.
  • Help develop integrated marketing campaigns that work seamlessly across in-store POS, email marketing, and social media for the Clintons brand, ensuring a consistent customer message and reinforcing our position as the go-to destination for greeting cards and gifts.
  • Own the communication of marketing campaigns to stores, producing clear implementation guides, briefing store teams on window displays and POS execution, and monitoring standards to ensure campaigns are delivered consistently across the estate.
  • Play a key role in new store openings, coordinating marketing materials, briefing print suppliers, planning launch activity, and liaising with shopping centre marketing teams to maximise awareness and footfall.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across Marketing, Buying, Retail Operations, and external agencies to deliver campaigns from concept through to execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
