Marketing Coordinator

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised Marketing Coordinator to join our Marketing team. Reporting to the Brand & Marketing Manager, this role will play a key part in planning, coordinating, and attending events that showcase the Collins group of companies within the agricultural, construction, and local community sectors.

The role will also support the development of social media campaign ideas and planning, while coordinating and scheduling across our digital channels and working closely with the Brand & Marketing Manager to ensure timely and effective delivery.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, plan, and deliver all events in the company calendar.
  • Act as the main point of contact for event organisers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Arrange logistics including stand set-up, transport, branding materials, hospitality, and staff requirements.
  • Ensure all events reflect and promote the Collins Earthworks brand consistently and professionally.
  • Work closely with the Brand & Marketing Manager to develop event strategies, campaigns, and post-event evaluations.
  • Manage stock of promotional items, marketing materials, and branded merchandise.
  • Provide event reports, including feedback, attendance statistics, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support additional marketing activities and projects as required.

Requirements:

  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple events and deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence dealing with external partners and the public.
  • Creativity and attention to detail to ensure events are engaging and impactful.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required for events.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management tools/software.
  • Experience managing social media campaigns and using scheduling tools.
  • Knowledge of marketing principles, including brand management and campaign coordination.
  • Confidence in using social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, and YouTube) to support campaign delivery and scheduled updates.
  • Ability to coordinate and organise content workflows, generate engaging ideas for promotional materials, event literature, and digital channels.

Experience:

  • Over 2 years’ experience in an events, marketing, or coordination role.
  • Experience within agricultural, construction, or related industries (not essential but advantageous).
  • External supplier liaison experience.
  • Resilience and ability to work well under pressure.

License/Certification:

  • Clean Full UK Driving Licence (essential, due to travel to events and sites).
  • Marketing qualifications (desired but not essential).

Job Types:

  • Full time
  • Permanent

Potential Start Date:

Immediate start to anticipate events season starting in June-Sept.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Occasional Weekend Availability for Events

Expected Hours:

40 hours per week
