Marketing & Customer Growth Director | FBED Labs

Senior enough to build the department. Hands-on enough to launch the product.

FBED Labs is building a new generation of commercial intelligence software. We're moving from a profitable, founder-led company into a scalable software business — and we're now building the senior leadership team that will take our product, Cascade, from launch-ready to launched, adopted and scaled.

We're hiring a Marketing & Customer Growth Director to build our marketing and customer growth function from the ground up. You'll sit at the centre of positioning, product launch, demand generation, customer activation and customer success — working directly with our CEO, COO, Sales Director, VP Engineering and CSM lead.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

This isn't a narrow marketing role. It's a senior leadership role for someone who can connect product, market, customer and growth — hands-on in the first phase, building a scalable function for the next.

What you'll do:

  • Build and lead the marketing and customer growth function
  • Shape the launch narrative and product positioning for Cascade
  • Build demand generation, pipeline support and sales enablement
  • Build the customer journey from first interest through to expansion
  • Turn early customer proof into market-facing assets
  • Hire and develop the team over time

What we're looking for:

  • Led marketing, product marketing or growth in a B2B SaaS or technology company
  • Experience launching complex or technical software products
  • Strong product marketing and positioning skills
  • Comfortable working closely with sales, product and customer success
  • Experience building customer onboarding, activation or success systems
  • Experience hiring and leading a marketing or growth team

This role is for you if you're senior enough to build the function and hands-on enough to help launch the product — comfortable making complex technology simple, and energised by turning early customer traction into market momentum.

It's not for you if you only want to run brand campaigns from a distance or stick to paid acquisition alone. We need someone who can build the growth function, not just run marketing activity.
