Marketing & Demand Generation Manager
Location: Cheltenham
Work Location: mixture of in person and hybrid
Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
Acquirz is looking for a commercially minded, hands-on Marketing Manager to lead marketing across two established B2B data businesses – Acquirz and Marketscan.
This is a broad role for someone who wants ownership, visibility and the chance to shape a marketing function rather than simply inherit one. You will manage activity across both brands, including the websites, HubSpot, campaigns, email marketing, LinkedIn, paid social, content, reporting and sales enablement.
The role needs someone who can think strategically but is also comfortable executing the work. You will help the business sharpen its positioning, generate demand, support outbound sales activity and make marketing more visible, accountable and commercially useful.
A key part of the role will also be building an AI-first approach to marketing and GTM. That does not mean producing generic AI content at volume. It means using AI intelligently to improve speed, consistency and efficiency while amplifying the real expertise, experience and market knowledge already inside both businesses.
We are looking for someone who is proactive and confident working in a small business environment where marketing needs to be both creative and measurable.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the marketing strategy for both Acquirz and Marketscan, aligned to commercial goals.
- Create and manage a clear marketing calendar covering campaigns, content, email, social, website activity, sales enablement and reporting.
- Manage both company websites, ensuring content is accurate, up to date, optimised for conversion and properly connected CRM, tracking and workflows.
- Plan and deliver integrated campaigns across email, LinkedIn, paid social, SEO, content, website, PPC and other relevant channels.
- Own and improve our CRM as the central marketing and sales enablement platform, including forms, lists, email campaigns, workflows, segmentation, attribution and dashboards.
- Develop and execute a clear LinkedIn strategy across company pages, organic content and paid campaigns.
- Create and edit content across websites, landing pages, emails, blogs, social posts, campaign assets, brochures and sales collateral.
- Translate technical and data-led propositions into clear, customer-focused messaging around better data, smarter data buying, budget efficiency, accuracy, compliance and sales performance.
- Work closely with leadership, sales and SDRs to ensure campaigns are followed up properly and that sales teams have the right messaging, assets, sequences and reporting.
- Use AI to support GTM efficiency across research, planning, content development, reporting, workflow automation and sales enablement, while maintaining strong editorial judgement and avoiding generic ‘AI slop’.
- Manage external agencies, freelancers, designers, developers, copywriters or website specialists where required.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
