A growing international manufacturer is seeking a commercially focused and strategically minded Marketing Director to lead and evolve its EMEA marketing function. This is a senior leadership position suited to a highly self-sufficient individual who can operate both strategically and operationally, driving brand alignment, market growth, and customer engagement across EMEA and in time beyond.
Reporting directly to the senior leadership team, the Marketing Director will take ownership of the EMEA marketing strategy, ensuring alignment across multiple brands, regions, and channels. You will play a key role in shaping market positioning, supporting sales growth, and strengthening the company’s presence in both established and emerging markets. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring someone who is comfortable setting strategy at board level while also executing campaigns and initiatives independently where required.
Role: Marketing Director Salary: up to £100,000 per annum + benefits Location: Essex (Hybrid Role)

Key Responsibilities for Marketing Director
Develop and implement a cohesive marketing strategy aligned with business growth objectives across EMEA. Lead the alignment and consolidation of multiple brands into a clear, consistent market proposition. Work closely with senior stakeholders to support commercial strategy, product positioning, and market expansion. Drive brand awareness and lead generation through a mix of digital, technical, and traditional marketing channels. Manage and optimise marketing budgets, ensuring strong ROI and measurable performance. Collaborate with sales teams to create impactful tools, campaigns, and customer engagement strategies. Oversee external agencies and partners while maintaining the ability to deliver independently when needed. Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to inform strategic decisions.
Requirements for the Marketing Director
Proven experience operating at a senior strategic marketing level, ideally within a technical, industrial, or manufacturing environment. Demonstrable success in aligning and managing multiple brands across EMEA or international markets. Highly self-sufficient, proactive, and comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced environment. Strong commercial awareness with the ability to translate strategy into tangible business results. Experience working closely with senior leadership teams and influencing business direction. A hands-on approach, with the capability to both lead and deliver marketing activity. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
