Marketing Director

A high-growth SaaS business serving the hospitality sector is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Marketing Director to lead its next phase of growth. This is a strategic leadership role for a marketing professional who combines deep expertise in digital demand generation and SEO with exceptional brand-building and communication skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and executing the company's marketing strategy, strengthening brand positioning, driving customer acquisition, and implementing scalable marketing systems that support continued growth across the UK and international markets.

Reporting directly to the executive leadership team, you will take ownership of the entire marketing function, aligning brand, demand generation, content, communications, and marketing operations to deliver measurable business results.

This role requires someone who is equally comfortable analysing performance data and marketing systems as they are leading messaging, storytelling, and brand development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the overall marketing strategy in line with company growth objectives.
  • Lead the company's brand positioning and ensure consistency across all customer touchpoints.
  • Own and optimise the digital marketing ecosystem, with particular focus on SEO performance and organic growth.
  • Build and refine scalable marketing systems, processes, and automation frameworks.
  • Drive lead generation and pipeline growth through integrated multi-channel campaigns.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Leadership teams to ensure alignment on go-to-market initiatives.
  • Oversee content strategy, PR, communications, and thought leadership activity.
  • Manage marketing budgets, reporting, and performance measurement.
  • Analyse campaign effectiveness and customer insights to continuously improve marketing performance.
  • Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
