Job Title: Regional Marketing Director

Our client is a global technology company with a strong international presence and ambitious growth plans across Europe. As part of its continued investment in the region, the company is seeking an experienced Regional Marketing Director to drive commercial growth, strengthen customer engagement, and support strategic business development initiatives.

Reporting to senior leadership, this role will serve as a key partner to regional sales teams and global stakeholders, helping accelerate growth in priority European markets through strategic marketing, customer advocacy, market intelligence, and go-to-market execution.

The successful candidate should be based in, or open to being based in, the United Kingdom, Germany, or France.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Growth & Key Account Support

  • Partner with regional sales leadership to support strategic accounts and growth initiatives.
  • Develop and execute account-based marketing programs for priority customers and prospects.
  • Support major business opportunities through customer-centric value propositions, executive engagement, and reference strategies.
  • Coordinate executive briefings, customer workshops, and strategic events.
  • Contribute to improved win rates through differentiated market positioning and customer success stories.

Commercial Marketing & Demand Generation

  • Develop regional marketing plans aligned with commercial objectives.
  • Support pipeline development and new customer acquisition initiatives.
  • Execute targeted campaigns to drive market penetration and business growth.

Market Intelligence & Customer Insights

  • Monitor customer needs, buying behaviors, and market trends.
  • Analyze competitive dynamics and industry developments.
  • Deliver actionable insights to commercial, product, and marketing stakeholders.
  • Identify emerging opportunities and growth areas across European markets.

Go-to-Market Leadership

  • Coordinate regional implementation of global product and solution launches.
  • Adapt messaging and positioning to local market requirements.
  • Support sales enablement and adoption initiatives.
  • Provide market feedback to product and marketing teams to enhance competitiveness.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
  • Significant experience in senior B2B marketing leadership roles within technology-driven industries.
  • Prior experience in payments, fintech, transaction technologies, banking technology, enterprise software, or related sectors is highly desirable.
  • Strong commercial mindset with experience supporting complex sales cycles and strategic accounts.
  • Demonstrated success driving demand generation, market development, and customer acquisition initiatives.
  • Experience working in international and matrixed organizations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and ability to translate market insights into business actions.
  • Fluent English, Spanish are required; additional European languages are advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel within Europe as needed.
