MARKETING DIRECTOR
UK based B2B SaaS company is seeking an ambitious and commercially minded Marketing Director to lead the company's marketing strategy and execution, helping to drive the growth of the business.
Role Overview
Reporting directly to the CEO and operating as a member of the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a marketing strategy that strengthens the company's market position, accelerates revenue growth, supports customer retention and enhances the company brand.
Key Responsibilities
The Marketing Director will lead all aspects of marketing including:
- Brand development
- Product marketing
- Customer communications
- Demand generation
- Content strategy
- Digital marketing
- Customer engagement
- Go-to-market activities
The successful Marketing Director candidate will combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach and possess a strong understanding of B2B SaaS marketing. You will be expected to translate business objectives into measurable marketing outcomes that support customer acquisition, product adoption, customer retention and revenue growth.
While the primary focus of the role is marketing leadership, there is potential for the successful candidate to oversee the Sales function, ensuring strong alignment between marketing and sales activities, lead management processes and overall commercial performance.

What You Will Be Doing
Ownership and Execution of the Marketing Plan
- Own and deliver the company's marketing plan, aligned with its growth objectives and product roadmap.
- Turn the plan into clear campaigns, content, product launches and client communications, coordinating internal teams and external partners.
- Manage priorities, budgets and delivery, track performance against agreed KPIs and continuously improve results.
Proposition Development
- Develop and refine clear, compelling propositions and messaging for the business, its products and services.
- Use customer, market and competitor insight to ensure the proposition is relevant to target audiences, differentiated in the market and consistently reflected across marketing, sales and customer communications.
Operational Marketing and Comms
- Execute the plans in collaboration with the CEO, sales team and other operational teams.
- Own marketing stakeholder relationships including external agencies.
- Produce marketing materials and manage digital marketing, overseeing content marketing, social media, SEO and GEO strategies.
Sales Enablement and Communication Rigour
- Equip the Sales team with the messaging, materials, case studies and campaign support needed to generate and convert opportunities.
- Establish disciplined communication planning, clear ownership, agreed timelines and consistent follow-through across Marketing, Sales, Product and Client Support teams.

Who We Are Looking For
A strategic thinker with proven hands-on experience in a senior marketing leadership role within a B2B SaaS environment, ideally in the PropTech or FinTech industries.
- Demonstrable success developing and executing growth-focused marketing strategies and plans.
- Expertise in proposition development, customer engagement, product launches, lead generation and sales enablement.
- Strong commercial awareness with a clear understanding of revenue growth drivers.
- Demonstrable skill in content creation/copy writing.
- Familiarity with upselling and cross-selling strategies in a SaaS environment would be advantageous.
- A data-driven mindset with experience in marketing analytics and performance tracking. Track record of insight-led propositions. Translate business objectives into measurable goals and KPIs.
- Exceptional storytelling and content creation skills.
- Experience with digital marketing tools, CRM platforms, and automation software.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Ability to build strong professional relationships at all levels, dealing with multiple stakeholders.
Working Conditions
The role is primarily home-based with occasional travel to meetings, events and serviced offices in and around London.
