Marketing Director – UK & Ireland
Location: Remote, with periodic travel into London for key meetings
Reports to: Managing Director UK&I
Pay rate: Up to £1100 p/d via Umbrella
Contract: 6 months
About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Director to lead our UK & Ireland marketing strategy and put our new products at the heart of our business. This is a senior leadership role responsible for:
- Delivering winning food and beverage propositions
- Driving brand activation
- Ensuring consumer-led innovation
You would be responsible for managing 3 direct reports and a team of 30.

- Delivering marketing and category strategies to drive growth and consumer acquisition
- Leading innovation and NPD (new product development) processes, ensuring profitability and operational excellence
- Overseeing pricing, discount strategies, and range architecture to optimise revenue and margins
- Managing media budgets and briefing processes with agencies to deliver return-on-investment (ROI)-driven campaigns
- Driving social media, PR, and influencer strategies aligned with brand objectives
- Collaborating with global teams on consumer insights and brand activation
- Owning and optimising the category marketing budget
- Ensuring effective communication across all functions

What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in senior marketing roles within FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) or fast-paced retail environments
- Strong category management expertise and P&L (Profit & Loss) responsibility
- Marketing/Business degree (MBA preferred)
- Exceptional commercial acumen and consumer insight skills
- Ability to influence at board level and communicate across complex global matrices
- Demonstrated success in defining and executing marketing strategies
- Inspirational leadership and team development skills
