Reporting to: Chief Operating Officer

Department: Marketing

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: Competitive

Role Overview:

Black Sheep Coffee is seeking an experienced, commercially driven Marketing Director to lead our global marketing function across the UK, US, and GCC.

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this role will lead the Design, Campaign Marketing, Social Media, and PR functions, developing and executing marketing strategies that drive commercial performance, strengthen the Black Sheep Coffee brand, and support continued international growth.

Working closely with the Chief Operating Officer, Co-Founders, Co-CEOs, Head of Category & Product, and Senior NPD Manager, the Marketing Director will play a key role in identifying consumer trends, bringing new products to market, supporting both corporate and franchise operations, delivering successful new store openings, and ensuring marketing remains aligned with the wider commercial strategy.

This is a senior leadership position requiring a commercially minded marketer who can combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy & Commercial Performance

  • Develop and deliver the global marketing strategy across the UK, US, and GCC.
  • Own the annual marketing plan, marketing calendar, and budget.
  • Drive customer acquisition, frequency, and sales through commercially focused marketing initiatives.
  • Establish clear KPIs and regularly report on marketing performance, ROI, and customer engagement.
  • Monitor customer behaviour, market trends, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth.

Product Innovation & Go-to-Market

  • Partner closely with the Head of Category & Product and Senior NPD Manager to identify emerging consumer trends, product opportunities, and market insights.
  • Collaborate on the development of new food, beverage, and retail products that align with the Black Sheep Coffee brand and commercial objectives.
  • Lead the go-to-market strategy for all new product launches across the UK, US, and GCC.
  • Develop launch campaigns, POS, digital assets, and operational marketing materials to support successful implementation.
  • Work closely with Operations, Learning & Development, and Category & Product to ensure new products are launched consistently across corporate and franchise stores.
  • Measure the commercial performance of new product launches and continually refine future innovation and marketing strategies.

Campaign Marketing & Brand Management

  • Lead the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across all customer touchpoints.
  • Ensure campaigns support key trading periods, seasonal activity, new product launches, and strategic business priorities.
  • Protect and evolve the Black Sheep Coffee brand across all markets.
  • Ensure consistent brand standards across retail, digital, franchise, and international marketing materials.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
