MARKETING DIRECTOR
COMPANY: FLIGHTSTORY
LOCATION: LONDON
ABOUT FLIGHTSTORY
We are a media and investment company, and we are on a mission to elevate the stories, build the communities, and support the founders that inspire a happier, healthier humanity. We scale creator-led media, ventures and communities.
ROLE MISSION
Build the marketing engine behind our unmistakable creator led media brands in the interest economy. Define how attention is earned, captured, and compounded across our brands, and help answer one of the biggest questions in media today: what is the future of marketing for the creator age.
KEY OUTCOMES
- Turn virality into a repeatable system (format logic, share triggers, remixability) instead of a lucky one off post
- Design a channel strategy where every platform has a clear job (discovery, depth, capture, habit) and performance is judged on audience quality, not vanity metrics
- Build the playbooks that get our content travelling credibly across platforms, streamers, and third party media
- Convert attention into owned, durable audiences through email, community, membership, and events
- Partner with BI to build first party data loops that make every campaign smarter than the last
- Own cultural calendars so brands show up with timing and intent, not reactive scrambling
- Shape a creator merch strategy where drops feel like brand moments, not interruptions
- Build a fast, disciplined test and learn culture: know what to test, what to scale, what to kill
- Build and lead a high performance marketing team and set the standards the whole portfolio runs on

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
