QLM Search is partnering with a high-growth, multi-brand food manufacturer that is undergoing an exciting period of transformation.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for a commercial Marketing Director with a General Manager mindset.

The role sits on the UK leadership team and offers significant influence, visibility, and the opportunity to lead the marketing organisation during a critical phase of the business’s evolution.

The Role

You will play a central role in shaping strategy, driving transformation, and delivering profitable growth with true GM-style ownership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the UK marketing agenda across a well-known portfolio of brands, with clear accountability for growth and value creation
  • Define portfolio and brand strategy, setting clear roles, positioning, and priorities to maximise commercial impact
  • Operate with a GM mindset, demonstrating strong P&L understanding and disciplined investment decision-making
  • Drive go-to-market excellence, ensuring seamless cross-functional execution across Sales, Commercial, Supply Chain, and Operations
  • Embed insight-led decision making, using data and analytics to optimise brand performance and marketing ROI
  • Play a key role in the UK transformation agenda, modernising capability, ways of working, and operating models
  • Influence at the top table, acting as a core member of the UK leadership team and senior interface with Group stakeholders
  • Build and lead a high-performing team, developing commercial, innovative, and future-ready marketing capability

You will be a senior marketing leader with a strong commercial track record and experience operating in complex, multi-brand environments.

You are likely to bring:

  • Proven experience as a Marketing Director or senior marketing leader within FMCG, consumer, or branded businesses
  • A commercial marketing mindset, with clear P&L ownership and GM-style leadership capability
  • Experience leading brand portfolios through transformation or change
  • Strong influence at UK leadership, ExCo, and operating and collaborating in an international environment
  • A balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution
  • Energy, resilience, and leadership presence in fast-paced organisations
