Senior Marketing Director – Product Marketing (Go-To-Market Strategy)

Role: Marketing Director, reporting to the Vice President of Product Marketing

At Waystone, a leader in institutional governance, administration, risk, and compliance services for financial institutions, this critical role shapes Waystone’s market strategy in the fund administration, associated products, and asset class/sector landscapes. With 25+ years of industry expertise and a global operational footprint, the successful candidate will oversee Waystone’s go-to-market positioning, product messaging, sales enablement, and demand generation—driving measurable growth through innovation, digitisation, and scalable B2B solutions.

About the Role

As a Marketing Director in the Product Marketing team, you will:

  • Define Waystone’s global positioning for fund administration, ensuring alignment with client needs and regional trends.
  • Develop strategic narratives and value propositions that influence asset managers’ outsourcing decisions.
  • Design and execute promotional campaigns (across digital, events, editorial, and PR) to boost brand awareness and pipeline contribution.
  • Collaborate with Product, Commercial, and Demand Generation teams to harmonise messaging and improve competitive win rates.

Responsibilities

Market Positioning & Messaging

  • Craft a unique differentiator for Waystone’s global fund administration offering, leveraging data-driven insights.
  • Build asset class-specific narratives (e.g., private equity, real estate, private credit) to position the full product suite.
  • Create compelling "switch" and outsourcing arguments that resonate with asset managers.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
