MEDIA & MARKETING EFFECTIVENESS MANAGER

Are you an experienced media professional who understands what makes great marketing work?

Perhaps you’re currently working agency-side, managing major client accounts and advising brands on integrated media planning, campaign effectiveness and investment decisions, and you’re ready to move client-side and take greater ownership of how marketing strategy is shaped and delivered.

We’re partnering with a major consumer brand investing significantly across media and marketing to recruit a Media & Marketing Effectiveness Manager.

Reporting to the Head of Media & Marketing Effectiveness, you’ll play an influential role across the marketing function, helping improve how campaigns are planned, measured and optimised across the full customer journey. This is a broad and commercially focused opportunity for someone who can connect media strategy, performance insight and marketing delivery.

You’ll work across brand and performance marketing, partnering with internal teams and external agencies to improve planning standards, challenge recommendations and ensure marketing investment is delivering against both immediate commercial priorities and longer-term brand growth.

THE ROLE

You’ll take ownership of key areas of marketing planning and effectiveness, including:

  • Helping shape integrated marketing plans across offline and digital media channels.
  • Working with marketing teams and agency partners to ensure activity is aligned around clear commercial and brand objectives.
  • Reviewing campaign and channel performance and turning insight into clear recommendations.
  • Challenging media plans, agency recommendations and investment decisions where appropriate.
  • Supporting the interpretation and application of Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM), brand tracking and campaign effectiveness studies.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve channel mix, audience strategy and marketing investment.
  • Developing a structured test-and-learn approach across brand and performance activity.
  • Ensuring campaign learnings are captured and used to improve future planning.
  • Building strong relationships with media agencies and ensuring actions, opportunities and agreed deliverables are progressed.
  • Improving planning frameworks, reporting processes and ways of working across the marketing function.
  • Helping senior stakeholders understand what is working, what could be improved and where future investment opportunities exist.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
