As our Marketing Events & Influencer Partnership Manager, you'll play a crucial role in building a high-impact community and demand engine through standout events and strategic industry partnerships. You’ll be responsible for creating the recruitment network everyone wants to be part of, designing and delivering memorable experiences that drive pipeline, brand affinity, and long-term relationships. Events (both online and offline) will be your core growth lever: from intimate, high-value roundtables with agency leaders to flagship industry moments that position us at the centre of the recruitment ecosystem. Alongside events, you’ll own and grow our influencer and partner network, working with respected voices across the recruitment space to extend our reach, build credibility, and create content and experiences that resonate deeply with our audience. Your understanding of the recruitment world means you know what matters, who matters, and how to bring the right people together in the right way. This is a highly visible, cross-functional role where you’ll collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Growth to ensure every event and partnership drives measurable impact. With significant scope to make your mark, this role is ideal for someone who thrives on creating energy, building communities, and turning moments into momentum for the business. Day in the Life Events: offline & online Own the events calendar end to end: from concept and venue to promotion, execution, and follow-up Design and produce a range of event formats: roundtables, webinars, lunch & learns, flagship community events, and conference presence Position SourceWhale events as the must-attend moments in the recruitment agency calendar Manage all event logistics: venue, speakers, agenda, production, budget, and post-event reporting Brief our paid media agency on paid amplification for events where relevant Ensure every event feeds the demand gen engine: clear goals, tracked attendance, and structured follow-up sequences Influencer & partnership marketing Identify, build, and manage relationships with recruitment influencers, agency owners, and industry voices Develop co-marketing partnerships with complementary tools and platforms in the recruitment tech stack Run influencer campaigns that feel authentic to the recruitment community Manage partnership agreements, deliverables, and performance tracking Build an influencer referral network among agency owners who advocate for SourceWhale Community building Build and grow a recruitment agency community that people genuinely want to be part of Position SourceWhale as the connective tissue of the 1–25 seat agency world: the brand that brings people together, shares knowledge, and elevates the profession Collaborate with our content and brand manager to curate content, conversations, and events that keep the community active and growing Work with the CEO and CRO to amplify their personal brands within the community and wider recruitment network Work with our PMM to surface community insights and feed them back into marketing, product, and CS Campaign management Run events and partnership campaigns end to end: strategy, brief, promotion, execution, reporting, and iteration Track and report on event and partnership contribution to pipeline numbers Analyse what's working and continuously raise the bar on format, audience quality, and follow-up conversion Who You Are 4–6 years in a B2B marketing, events, or partnerships role. Ideally with time spent inside the recruitment industry or recruitment tech You have built a community or recurring event series before, and people talk about it. (Your references will reflect this) Deep personal network in the UK recruitment and agency space, with genuine relationships across agency owners, operators, and industry voices Proven ability to run events end to end: from concept to post-event pipeline reporting Experience building influencer or partnership programmes in a B2B context: you know the difference between reach and relevance Strong campaign instincts: you understand how events and partnerships feed the broader demand gen engine Excellent relationship builder: warm, credible, and genuinely curious about the people you work with AI-native: you use AI tools to move faster: event promotion, outreach, follow-up sequences, and content are all fair game Comfortable working in a small, fast-moving team where you own the full programme, not just one part of it What’s In It For You?
