Working as Marketing Events Manager, your responsibilities will be diverse and impactful:
- Lead the execution of local and overseas events and conferences, liaising with logistics partners for venue coordination, vendor management, scheduling, and materials preparation
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop programme content and requirements
- Manage operational logistics, including registrations, rehearsals, on-site setups, and post-event follow-ups
- Handle event communications and craft basic marketing materials
- Identify and coordinate internal and external speakers aligned to the event agenda
- Track timelines, action items, deliverables, and budgets; provide clear post-event reporting
Requirements
Here’re what we’re looking for:
- A strong background in events management with practical marketing expertise, ideally within financial services
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, ability to navigate cultural differences, and comfort working autonomously in a fast-paced team setting
- Proficiency in digital event platforms (preference for experience with iConference and/or Eventogy)
- Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with strong communication and coordinating abilities
- Fluency in English and a meticulous attention to detail, coupled with a willingness to take initiatives and support the team proactively
