Marketing Executive
Marketing Executive / Senior Marketing Executive
Role Summary
Our client, EFT Group, are looking to hire a Marketing Executive / Senior Marketing Executive who will be responsible for planning, creating, and delivering marketing activity across the EFT Group portfolio.
This opportunity combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, supporting:
- Brand awareness
- Lead generation
- Customer engagement
- Sales growth
Key responsibilities include creating compelling content, managing digital channels, and developing marketing materials for customer acquisition and retention. The role offers significant autonomy and the chance to establish marketing best practices, processes, and systems for the Group’s future growth.
You’ll act as a trusted partner to senior leaders, shaping how EFT Group communicates its services, showcases expertise, and strengthens reputation within its markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement marketing plans aligned with EFT Group and its individual businesses’ objectives.
- Manage and enhance digital marketing activities, including:
- Websites and social media platforms
- Email communications
- Multiple online channels
- Create high-quality content for diverse audiences:
- Website copy
- Social media posts
- Customer newsletters
- Case studies
- Project spotlights
- Press releases
- Award submissions
- Internal communications
- Oversee website performance, support SEO improvements, content optimisation, and user engagement. Collaborate with partners to manage PPC campaigns and maximise ROI.
- Produce customer-facing marketing collateral:
- Brochures
- Sales presentations
- Capability statements
- Service guides
- Proposal materials
- Support customer communication campaigns linked to growth objectives and strategic priorities.
- Work with operational teams to turn successful projects and customer stories into marketing content.
- Strengthen employer branding via recruitment marketing initiatives, showcasing company culture, values, and employees.
- Monitor and report on:
- Campaign performance
- Website analytics
- Digital engagement
- Marketing effectiveness
- Advance brand presence through:
- Industry events
- Networking opportunities
- Award entries
- Partnerships
- Community engagement initiatives
- Operate across multiple businesses and stakeholder groups, balancing Brand consistency with division-specific messaging.
- Leverage modern marketing tools, including AI-assisted platforms, to enhance efficiency, campaign creativity, and effectiveness.

- Southport-based
- Hybrid working
- Salary range: £30k-£45k (DOE)

Essential Experience & Requirements
- Proven marketing experience, either as:
- A progressive Marketing Executive or
- An established Senior Marketing Executive
- Campaign experience across digital and traditional marketing channels.
- Strong content creation and copywriting skills, with adaptable messaging for varied audiences/sectors.
- Hands-on expertise with:
- Social media platform management
- Website and email marketing
- Practical knowledge of:
- SEO principles
- Website optimisation
- Digital marketing best practices
- Experience crafting sales literature and marketing collateral.
- Self-disciplined with high organisational skills, able to multitask collaboratively or independently.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder relations, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and marketing platforms.
- Confidence speaking to senior stakeholders and building cross-functional relationships.
