The Role
We seek a creative, results-driven Marketing Executive to support the Health & Care division in growing and refining our market presence. This hands-on role spans event management, digital campaigns, PR, and brand strategy.
Base & Flexibility
- Location: Primarily Bristol, centrally based.
- Work Model: Flexible working (up to 2 days remote).
- Travel: ~2 business days/month in London + event-related travel.

Key Responsibilities
Support the planning & delivery of:
- In-person/virtual events enhancing client relations & sales.
- Multi-platform campaigns across:
- Print & digital
- Social media & podcast marketing
- Video & traditional outreach
Develop & execute:
- Email marketing campaigns to drive engagement & conversions.
- Thought leadership content (articles, case studies, newsletters).
- Brand-enhancing ad hoc marketing collateral, imagery, and messaging.
Manage operations & ongoing Innovation:
- Digital/social media workflows (website, LinkedIn, SharePoint).
- Content libraries, network audits, and materials logistics.
- Monitoring & optimising campaign KPIs.
Collaborations:
- Linchpin with external agencies, in-house creative teams, and design suppliers.
Who We’re Looking For
How to work at Howden
- 1–3 years of diverse marketing or business-related experience (CIM qualification/time in-house/agency welcome, contrasted with real-world cards).
- Proven training or certified knowledge (degree, apprenticeship, or hands-on contributions like event planning).
- A proactive personality and catalyst for ideas.
- Confidence engaging across teams and functions (vendors, partners, executive leaders).
Must-haves:
- Focused, creative, but pragmatic in approach.
- Initiative, attention to detail, and a belief in continuous improvement.
- Proficient in:
- Adobe Creative Suite (highly welcome) & MS Office suite.
- Collaboration in MS SharePoint, CMS, and CRM environments.
