Marketing Executive – Festival of Marketing & PMW Unlocked

Overview

We're seeking a proactive and organised Marketing Executive to join our team at Haymarket Media Group, working across two of the UK's leading marketing brands: Marketing Week and Performance Marketing World.

This hands-on role involves supporting integrated marketing campaigns that drive engagement, generate high-quality leads, and increase delegate registrations for our flagship events:

  • Festival of Marketing
  • PMW Unlocked

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering campaigns across email, social, web, and paid channels
  • Creating and updating emails, web content, and social assets (via tools like Canva)
  • Coordinating timelines, briefing designers, and ensuring on-time execution
  • Tracking campaign performance, leads, registrations, and revenue
  • Collaborating with marketing, events, and sales teams to align activity with commercial goals

Responsibilities

Campaign Delivery

  • Drive marketing campaigns for Festival of Marketing and PMW Unlocked with a focus on lead generation and event registrations
  • Maintain campaign momentum by coordinating timelines, messaging, and assets
  • Ensure seamless execution across different channels

Content & Channels

  • Write and design emails, social content, and web updates
  • Manage activity across email, social media, paid ads, and websites
  • Collaborate with designers to bring campaign assets to life
  • Schedule and publish engaging social posts

Performance & Reporting

  • Track and analyse campaign performance (leads, registrations, revenue)
  • Support data-driven reporting to refine strategies
  • Identify key metrics driving commercial success

Collaboration

  • Work closely with marketing, events, and sales teams to align goals
  • Ensure marketing activity feeds the delegate sales pipeline
  • Maintain open communication across teams to hit event targets

Desirable Experiences (Not Strictly Required but Valued)

  • 1+ year in marketing (campaigns, digital, events, or media)
  • Experience with:
    • Email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot)
    • CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Adobe Experience Manager)
    • Canva or graphic design tools
    • Paid advertising (Google Ads,Meta, LinkedIn)
  • Data analysis – Ability to track and report campaign KPIs
  • Fast-paced environments – Previous roles in events, publishing, or commercial marketing
