Jongor Marketing Role

Jongor are looking for an experienced marketer who thrives on web content writing.

The role will be a part-time role and could be done as a freelance role, ideally one day a week.

The role oversees the whole marketing function for Jongor Hire. In this role, we are looking for someone who is focused on web content management, SEO, and product copywriting. The perfect candidates will be proficient in writing content including website blogs and guides which are engaging and optimised for search. They will be very particular about the look and feel of the website and be used to being in the finer detail. Previous use of tooling such as WordPress or similar is a must; additionally, someone with analytical knowledge would be beneficial.

Accountabilities

The accountabilities include, but are not restricted to:

  • In conjunction with the Managing Director and Sales Manager, to design and agree on an annual Marketing Plan, which is aligned with the Sales Strategy and Business Objectives
  • Oversee the management of the website content management system, including maintaining product copy, images and category hierarchy, onboarding new products, maintaining landing pages, blogs & guides, and overall website structure
  • Driving web traffic by optimising organic search and the social media channels, working with third-party PPC manager
  • Manage occasional e-newsletter campaigns such as new product launches and key company messages
  • Ensure compliance across the company of the company’s Brand Guidelines

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

  • At least 3 years' previous experience in a marketing executive role or similar
  • Experience in web content writing and uploading.
  • Experience in creating and implementing a marketing plan for an SME, with strong project management and organisational skills
  • Digital marketing communications experience, including copy writing for technical products
  • Experience of eCommerce and using GA4
  • Good communication skills and the ability to communicate clearly to internal and external customers
