About the Role
We’re looking for a Marketing Executive to join our team on a permanent basis in our Exeter office. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and creative marketer who wants to make an impact. You’ll work closely with Partners and colleagues across the firm to help, strengthen the Westcotts brand, support business development, and deliver engaging marketing activity across many channels.

Main Duties
Responsibilities
As the Marketing Executive, you’ll help plan, deliver, and evaluate a range of marketing activities that support the firm and client engagement. You’ll enjoy managing multiple projects and build strong relationships throughout the firm. Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating and coordinating a range of marketing materials, including newsletters, brochures, advertisements, tender documents, reports, website, and social media content
- Planning and delivering client events, seminars, webinars, exhibitions, and agricultural shows from concept through to evaluation
- Supporting integrated marketing campaigns across online and offline channels
- Managing and updating website content, helping optimize pages for SEO and ensuring content remains current
- Maintaining marketing databases, coordinating promotional materials, and managing branded assets
- Supporting the firm’s social media presence by creating engaging content and promoting events, news, and key business updates
- Monitoring marketing activity and data, reporting on campaign performance, and identifying trends opportunities for continuous improvement
- Working with external suppliers including designers, printers, PR, and digital agencies
- Supporting sponsorship activities and Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives across the firm
- Travelling to our offices across Devon and Somerset, working closely with Partners and colleagues across the firm to deliver marketing projects that support business development and client engagement
- Occasionally attending events outside normal office hours when required

Attributes, Skills, Experience And Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who is creative, organised, and passionate about delivering high-quality marketing activity. Ideally, you’ll have:
- Previous experience in a marketing or communications role
- A passion for marketing and creating engaging content across a variety of channels
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail
- Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Canva experience would be advantageous
- Experience using website CMS and email marketing platforms
- Understanding of marketing analysis, SEO, and digital performance
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Experience managing business social media platforms
- Events planning or coordination experience would be advantageous
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- A friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude
- The ability to learn new software and marketing systems
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for occasional travel between offices and events

Terms / Benefits
- Ideally 36.25 hours / 5 days per week; however, part-time hours / days also considered.
- Flexible and hybrid or office working available.
- 20 days annual leave (rising to 25 days after 3 years’ service) plus bank holidays.
